Last September we have finished the manufacturing of a very special twin head UHT-line for one of our clients. An automatic processed cheese blending, inline cooking and UHT line for 1.500kg/h. With this line it is possible to mix and cook processed cheese for IWS or triangle packed hotfill processed cheese.

Last week we have finished the manufacturing of a full automatic pasteurizer for 25.000ltr/h for one of our clients. The line is equipped with an in-line fatt standardization system for both the milk (0-4.5%) and the cream (20-45%), an inline skimmer and Bactofuge. It has the possibility to run on various temperature cycles for as well drinkmilk (outlet temperature 4°C) as cheese milk (outlet at 29°C).

Since 2016 we are member of the Dutch Dairy Cluster India which is part of PIB program. PIB (“Partners for International Business”) is a program by RVO (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) on the establishment of a public-private partnership between Dutch Dairy Cluster India and the Dutch Government on the positioning of the Dutch Dairy Chain in India.

Complete customer made project for a Reverse Osmosis (RO) unit in a container. Lekkerkerker Dairy & Food Equipment built a used RO unit into an open container for a customer-specific project. We will be undertaking more client-specific projects in the future. Here are a few more pictures.

The name Machinehandel Lekkerkerker BV has changed to Lekkerkerker Dairy & Food Equipment. After operating for 20 years under the name of Machinehandel, it was time to adopt a more international name, in view of our exports to more than 50 different countries per year.

During the anniversary party on 22 June, the bronze statue of Kees and Janny was unveiled. Founder Kees Lekkerkerker celebrated his 65th birthday and officially handed the reins over to the second generation. This was all celebrated in the company of our customers, suppliers and other relations. In the bronze statue Kees en Janny Lekkerkerker are carrying a milk churn, the one with which it all began. The Lekkerkerker family business has been officially handed over by founders Kees and Janny Lekkerkerker to their children Mariska and Niels Lekkerkerker. This official ceremony took place on 22 June 2016.

For the anniversary festival, money was collected for the Solidaridad organisation. We were ultimately able to hand over a cheque for EUR 8,000 which is to be used for a project in Bangladesh to fund better milk processing in cattle farming. Please see below for more information about Solidaridad.

Partners for International Business (PIB) FoodTechLink Ukraine has been formalized on 25 March 2015 by signing a covenant between the Netherlands’ Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the Netherlands Enterprise Agency and a consortium of Dutch companies.
