Complete Butter oil – AMF production line This line makes Pure Dairy Fatt from melted butter or cream by separating and evaporation. Capacity output Butteroil up to 2.000 to 4.000ltr/h Input: melted butter (72-84% fat) or concentrated cream or fat stream which already had phase inversion (45/72%). Output: Pure fat > 99.8% Fatt. A Flexible line with manual controls integrated CIP system Process and equipment description: Heater Plate heater exchanger for heating the mix to 80/90°C Complete with pumps, control valves, piping, sensors. 2 Buffer tanks Volume: approx. 8.000ltr, with agitator, stairs and frame, CIP and product valves. Feed pump make Fristam to the separators. 2 Separators: Separator 1: Concentrator Alfa-Laval model: BRPX413-XGD-14c. Concentrating up to ± 95% fat. Separator 2: Finisher Alfa-Laval model: BRPX413-XGD-14c, Concentrating up to ± 99.4% fat For each separator: The fat (light phase) is pumped out to the next stage and the water/protein (heavy phase) are separated out and ejected to a balance tank and pumped of by a separate pump. The separators have their own control panel, and a frequency converter (Danfoss VLT) on the main motor, and are mechanically complete with the inlet and counter pressure valves, water valves (for solids ejection). Evaporator Flash vacuum dryer Complete with: - Vacuum tank. - Vacuum pump. - Product pump. - Level control by float. - Vacuum controller. - Vacuum cooler - Filter on outlet. - Piping and frame. - Controls in central cabinet. - Recirculation tank with agitator placed directly next to the evaporator. - Sight glass with light to check the clearness of the final product, Concentration up to 99.8% Fatt. This is the last stage of concentrating by evaporating the last water through a flush effect where butter oil is heated under pressure and cooled and exploded in a vacuum vessel. Nitrogen injection system N2 Injection system to prevent contact with oxygen in buffer tanks. N2 injection point and its flow meter and control valve Bag filter (cloth) Sight glass with light. Serum separator Next to this there is a separator for the Sirom (heavy phase) to skim/recuperate the remaining fat in the serum and return this into the process. Buffer tank, heater/cooler and pump system are included. CIP system There is a CIP system (semi-automatic) to dose the cleaning detergent from a drum direct into the process. Including: 3 Dosing pumps, a stainless steel storage box for the Drums, injection system, pump, balance tank and controls. Controls: Ideal for concentrating a rest stream with fat in a factory or making Butteroil from butter. Still installed in a Major Butter oil producer in The Netherlands.

Can LDFE help me with the installation?

Yes, if desired our mechanics can install the equipment at your premises . Also, we can offer long-distance assistance by giving instructions by video call or remote control (when installed).

What do the conditions ‘refurbished’, ‘good running’ and ‘as is’ mean?

We can offer our machinery in three conditions: ‘refurbished’,  ‘good running’ and ‘as is’. ‘Refurbished’ refers to a complete revision of a used machine to give it a second life. Our standard procedure when completely refurbishing a used machine is:

  • Strip down to the frame: blasting and spraying of steel components
  • All component wear: replacement of bearings, bushes and gaskets
  • Replacement of damaged or worn components
  • New cabling and control systems (latest updates)
  • 6 month warranty
  • Guaranteed spare parts supply for 5 years
  • Optional: supervision of commissioning and operator training
  • Optional: CE marking
  • Optional: custom modifications

Buying a ‘good running’ machine is a cheaper solution. In this condition, we do not completely overhaul the machine,  but do the necessary works to get the machine in working condition. The machine is tested in our workshop and components are only replaced if necessary. This price is always subject to conditions, as on occasion it becomes evident during the tests that there is an expensive fault. If this is the case, the buyer receives a quotation for the additional costs and is also given the option to cancel the purchase.

Machines are almost always sold ex-factory and can be deployed in the same condition in which we bought them: ‘as is’. However, the machine has not been inspected by us and there is no guarantee of its current condition. We always recommend that a machine is inspected prior to purchase and only to buy ‘as is’ if you have a thorough knowledge of machines. We can always tell you whether we purchased the machine in operating condition or whether it had already been decommissioned. Documentation is not always included and can only be supplied if it was present at the time of purchase.

Can I trust used machines?

We have been dealing with used machines since 1996 from the same place we started the business and growing every year. If a (small) problem arises, we also try to find a solution with our customers. We always have been a reliable partner due to our experience with used machinery.

Can LDFE also offer new machines?

Yes, in particular process equipment such as pasteurisers, standardisation equipment, CIP units, Cheese UHT unit etc. A hybrid form of new and rebuild is also possible.
